Open Play
We have “open play” on Tuesday afternoons from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for advanced and intermediate groups. Thursday afternoon from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. is reserved for intermediate and beginner groups. We can accommodate 16 players outside at the same time. When there are 8 players or less, players rotate on their own. When we have 9 or more players, we rotate by “Challenger’s choice”
- Players waiting for a court stack paddles for the court they want to challenge
- The winning team remains on the court.
- The two challengers get to choose what the teams will be
- We play to 11 …challengers serve first
We also host informal mixers and beginner clinics periodically. For mixers, each player brings a food dish and it is typically scheduled on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. For beginner clinics, we schedule these on Saturday mornings. Clinics include hitting on the ball machine and then pairing up with a “seasoned player” to play actual games.
Informal Mixers
- Mixers are scheduled from time to time by court staff for different skill levels
- Each Mixer has a maximum of 16 available player spots (per round)
- Anyone signing up for a mixer can reserve a total of four slots for their friends to play in the same mixer.
- All players signing up for a mixer will be listed on our scheduler site.
- Mixers are free but we appreciate it if our participants bring a food dish with them.
